The Royal Parade, Audience Ceremony and Royal Procession surrounding Bandar Seri Begawan
Venue: The vicinity of Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam
A once-in-a-lifetime event – where the capital city will be graced by His Majesty Sultan of Brunei in a royal parade and procession along Bandar Seri Begawan, together with other members of the royal family for the Golden Jubilee Celebrations of His Majesty Sultan of Brunei’s ascension to the throne.
This is a chance for the public to catch a glimpse of the grandeur of Brunei’s royal customs and etiquettes or adat istiadat that mirrors Brunei’s rich culture and traditions. Witness this historic moment and pay homage to the Sultan of Brunei as he boards the Royal Chariot for the Royal Procession around the capital.

Asia-Link Sketchwalk : Kuching 2017
Venue: The Granary Kitchen & Bar, Kuching, Sarawak
Organized by Urban Sketchers Kuching, the Asia-Link Sketchwalk Kuching 2017 is an event where sketchers and artists can view Kuching through the movement of their sketches. The four-day event will be filled with activities such as sketching and workshops, not to mention sharing experiences and being creatively inspired by Sarawak’s heritage, that stands today alongside its modern neighbours.
There will be an exhibition showcasing the stills of Kuching’s life and scenes in the form of sketches and poetry from 9 to 29 October 2017 at The Granary Kitchen & Bar. The exhibition will feature works from international sketchers including China, Indonesia, India, Japan, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and more.

With the line-up for Rocktoberfest being some of the biggest names in Malaysia’s Rock scene – XPDC, Oh Chentaku, OAG, Hujan, Bunkface and more – festival-goers are sure to have a head-banging time at the Rocktoberfest Borneo. So, rock music? Check! Cool venue? Check! Awesome food? Fret not, the festival will also be introducing a ‘food village’ where there will be an array of foods ranging from local picks, some traditional munch and modern bites that keeps visitors filled all night. What are you waiting for?

The Ultimate RBRC Carnival
Venue: Royal Brunei Recreation Club, Berakas, Brunei Darussalam
Brunei’s premier creative event company, The Collective, is organizing another festival day at the Royal Brunei Recreational Club (RBRC). Don’t miss out on the activities happening on the day, from archery to fencing to skate demos. And be sure to catch the local pop-up vendors!

Petrol Sunday Hangout
Venue: Multi-Storey Parking, Kontena Park, Berakas, Brunei Darussalam
From the company that brought you 250 unique automobiles in BRIDEX in May this year, Borneo Kustom Show is collaborating with Kontena Park for a Sunday filled with great rides spread out along the iCentre multi-storey parking building and good food from invited vendors of Kontena Park. This first of its kind event is open to the public from 2pm to 8pm.

Sarawak Adventure Challenge

The Opening Ceremony of the Sungai Kebun Bridge, Procession of Decorated Floats and Fireworks Display
Venue: Sungai Kebun Bridge, Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei Darussalam
On this day, Bruneians will be witnessing history in the making with the inauguration of the tallest structure in the sultanate, in conjunction with the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei’s accession to the throne. The skyline of the city, Bandar Seri Begawan, will be lit with a fireworks display and visitors will be treated to a view of decorated floats dancing around the Brunei River. You definitely can’t miss this spectacular evening.

Borneo Bird Festival 2017
Venue: Imago Mall & Crocker Range Park Sabah
The Borneo Bird Festival 2017 is a two-day festival held to increase awareness on the birds of Sabah, which currently has up to 668 incredible species of birds, making Borneo the premier birding destination. Expect activities such as a guided bird walk, youth camp, Bird Race and many more that are designed for participants of all ages.

The Brunei Motor Show 2017
Venue: BRIDEX Halls 1 and 2, Jerudong, Brunei Darussalam
On the last weekend of October, The Brunei Motor Show will gather the top local car dealers and automotive aficionados under one roof to get the scoop on the latest technology, services and downstream products on all things motoring in Brunei. Gear up for the grand showcase of amazing automobile models, high-end bikes and one-of-a-kind supercars brought in from dealers around the region. There will also be activities such as drift demos, go-kart heats and pop-up performances promising a fun-filled weekend.
