An open day of talks and demonstrations about the creative industry kicked off on 6th February 2017 at the Mini Art & Design Technology Open Day at iCentre. The open day, organized by The Creative Core BN in collaboration with Kaleidoscope Studio and supported by Teach Me Teacher and iCentre, featured talks and demonstrations by individuals working in the local arts and design industry.
The open day finished with an Indoor Local Night Market held at the iCentre. From 6.30pm to 10.30pm, the night market featured numerous local vendors selling a variety of products such as food and drinks, streetwear, and more, including a team of graduating Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) art students selling merchandise for their upcoming art and design exhibition, UBD Impact 2017. The centre of the location was fashioned into a stage where local music artists performed, featuring an array of musicians including the likes of Sai, Kala. K and Matius.
Both events saw an amazing turnout of individuals who came to learn more about the local creative industry, and those who came to kick back and enjoy a night of art, music, community, and fun.
