Hello Sutera!

Sutera, a digital local lifestyle portal, celebrated the debut of its website with a fun event that involved an eating competition and local performances at RB Lifestyle on March 25.

Delivering multimedia content on all things Bruneian, the website was first launched on February 23 2017 in conjunction with Brunei Darussalam’s 33^rd National Day, kick-starting their journey into providing up-to-date multimedia content on travel, food, events and activities in Brunei for the public.

Dubbed #HelloSutera, the event featured a showcase of Bruneian talent which included musicians Zed Peace, FN Duo and Syafiq Abdilah. Dk Kemariah Pg Hj Duraman of Kunyit 7 homestay took the spotlight to give a talk about growing up in the water village. There was also an eating competition which had four contestants attempting to wolf down 15 murtabak in 10 minutes, following the success of their ‘100 under 10 Satay Challenge’ video.

Among the invited guests present at #HelloSutera event was Legislative Council member Yang Berhormat Iswandy Ahmad, as well as representatives from Brunei Tourism, Royal Brunei Catering and the media.
