On 18 April 2017, Baiduri Bank unveiled the new and improved Baiduri Visa Infinite and Platinum credit cards at a press conference attended by Baiduri Bank customers and the media.
Present at the press conference were Mr Pierre Imhof, CEO of Baiduri Bank; Mr Ti Eng Hui, Deputy CEO of Baiduri Bank; Pengiran Azaleen bin Pg Dato Hj Mustapha, Head of Retail Banking and Branch Network for Baiduri Bank; Mr Roy Wong, Head of Business Development in Singapore and Brunei for Visa Worldwide; and Ms Becky Lim, CEO for Asia Pacific DragonaPass APAC Pte Ltd.
Mr Pierre Imhof said in his opening statement, “Our clients are getting increasingly affluent, tech savvy and well-travelled. We recognize this trend and are pleased to partner with Visa in delivering a unique and practical proposition for the affluent traveler through Baiduri Visa Infinite and Platinum Credit Cards.”
Along with many new features and global privileges, existing and new Baiduri Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum cardholders will enjoy a complimentary membership to DragonPass (which will come into effect on 1st May 2017) – the world’s first all-in-one digital airport platform that provides a unique and seamless “total airport experience” for its cardholders, and offers its members access to over 850 Airport Lounges around the world along with exclusive privileges and discounts to airport amenities and services, and more.
Along with DragonPass, the new Baiduri Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum Credit Cards are upgraded with the payWave feature, which allows for convenient contactless payment solutions and a faster payment process.

Mr Roy Wong commented on how the newly introduced benefits from the Baiduri Visa Infinite and Visa Platinum Credit Cards would transform the consumer experience for cardholders when traveling and prompt more affluent Bruneians to adopt cashless payment methods.
