A Photography Exhibition displaying images of Brunei in all its various forms of beauty was launched yesterday at the Departure Area of the Brunei International Airport. The exhibition was launched yesterday, 19 April 2018, and was officiated by Guest of Honour Yang Mulia Awg Wardi bin Hj Mohammad Ali, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (Tourism) of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT).
The exhibition features photographs by winners and shortlisted candidates of last year’s Photography Competition that was held in conjunction with last year’s Brunei December Festival. Carrying the theme ‘Places of Interests and Events’, the exhibition showcases images landmarks, events, places and faces of Brunei, and was organised by Politeknik Brunei. In addition to these winning photos are selected images of Brunei from local photographer Mr Joseph Wong Siew Hang from Rose Photo Studio.
The Photography Exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, Department of Civil Aviation, Politeknik Brunei and Mr Joseph Wong Siew Hang. The exhibition was launched with the aim to further promote Brunei Darussalam to travelers within the Brunei International Airport, and offer guests rare glimpses into the surreal beauty and lifestyle of the Abode of Peace.
