It was all fun and games at the Liang Lumut Recreational Club (LLRC) Karnival, a five-day extravaganza aimed at bolstering community ties, and the local SME market in the area. This year’s vendors included businesses based in the Brunei-Muara district. Classic games like hoop throwing, bullseye shooting, had visitors thrilled, alongside other attractions such as a Reptile Show, Electric Toy Cars, and free movie screenings throughout the event program. The LLRC building is considered an important development in the area, providing residents around Lumut and Sungai Liang with much needed modern recreational and commercial space, including a children’s waterpark.
The LLRC karnival is supported by the Brunei Tourism Board as part of its annual December Festival celebrations, a month-long program where the nation comes alive with country-wide events and shopping deals galore to celebrate the end of the year. llrc
