The Singapore Food Festival returned once again to the Anjung Saujana Restaurant at the Brunei International Airport recently, with crowds flocking to enjoy the various special menu items and buffet that was on offer during the promotion period. The festival also coincides with the celebration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between Brunei and Singapore this year.
“As we celebrate this milestone, it is fitting that we reflect on our shared values and friendship. The Singapore Food Festival, with its diverse selections, symbolises the spirit of cultural exchange and friendship that defines our relationship with Singapore,” said Dk Hjh Norulnazura Binti Pg Hj Hassim from Royal Brunei Catering in her opening speech for the event. Terence Coon, Executive Director of Southeast Asia, was present to represent the Singapore Tourism Board, mentioned how happy he was to have the support of Bruneians in building Singapore’s tourism avenues, particularly the Halal and Family Friendly travel sectors.
